Birria Grilled Cheese

Directions

Meat Preparation:

1. Place your beef in a slow cooker, pressure cooker, or large pot.

2. Add 1 Just Add Luv Birria Bomb and 4 cups of water.

3. Slow cooker: 6 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW
   Pressure Cooker: 30 minutes for each pound of meat
   Stovetop: 3 - 4 hours at a gentle simmer

4. When the meat is fall-apart tender, shred it and return it to the broth. Skim off some of the rendered fat and save it for later.

Sandwich Preparation:

1. Assemble the Grilled Cheese:

2. Brush the outside of your bread slices with the reserved birria fat and/or butter for extra richness.

3. Layer cheese and a generous scoop of shredded birria between two slices of bread.

4. Grill in a skillet over medium-low heat. Don’t rush—lower and slower is better for a crispy crust and gooey cheese!

5. Flip when golden brown and finish the other side.

6. Slice and serve with a bowl of hot consommé for dunking.

7. Optional: Add pickled onions or jalapeños for a little zing!
