Tinga Tostadas are crunchy, flavorful, and full of vibrant, smoky goodness. Tender, shredded chicken in a lightly spiced chipotle sauce is piled high on crispy tortillas, then topped with all your favorite fixings. Quick to make and impossible to resist, they’re perfect for a fun weeknight dinner or casual gathering.
Ingredients

2-4 lbs chicken breasts or thighs

1 Chipotle Flavor Bomb (or Tinga blend)

8 crispy tostada shells

1 cup refried beans
-
1 cup shredded lettuce
-
1/2 cup Mexican crema or sour cream
-
1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco
-
Salsa or hot sauce
Directions
Meat Preparation:
Use the Chipotle Flavor Bomb to cook your chicken as desired. Shred it up and let it soak in all that saucy goodness.
Stovetop: Place 2–4 lbs chicken in a pot with 6–8 cups water and 1 Chipotle Luv Bomb. Bring to a boil, then simmer 25–40 minutes (until fully cooked and tender).
Slow Cooker: Add chicken, water, and 1 Chipotle Luv Bomb to the slow cooker. Cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
Pressure Cooker: Add chicken, water, and 1 Chipotle Luv Bomb. Cook on HIGH pressure 12–15 minutes, then quick-release or natural release for 5 minutes.
Tostada Preparation:
Spread a layer of refried beans on each tostada shell.
Add a generous scoop of chipotle chicken.
Top with lettuce, crema, queso fresco, and salsa.
Crunch in and try not to make a mess (but if you do, that’s half the fun!).
